In response to certain events, Firefox windows (but not those of any other applications) will go black except for some subrectangle (possibly entirely black, but I haven't confirmed that) for anywhere between an instant (i.e. (The drawing glitches are the window decorations going black more persistently than Firefox does, but since no application but Firefox experiences these symptoms with compositing disabled, I consider it Firefox's bug for being susceptible, even if the inciting cause turns out to be a bug in KWin or the nVidia binary video drivers.)
